Gobble Gobble

My dad came out for Thanksgiving, hooray! (However, we neglected to actually take any photos on Thanksgiving.)

We took him on his annual visit to Tilden.

And we checked the view from the Lawrence Hall of Science.

Dad also took us to a deeeeeelicious (and fance) lunch at Chez Panisse. Yum.

Ready!

Next we spent  lonnnnng time in the bead store as I relived my middle school memories. I might just have to dig up my old beading Caboodle.

The bone room didn't quite live up to the hype, but it was still pretty cool.

Cal tour

Kiwis at the Berkeley Farmers' Market

We took a series of senior class pics at the Berkeley Art Museum.

We also hit panoramic point just in time for a non-foggy sunset.

I took about 150 photos of the sunset, but they mostly all look like this.

We took a road trip up to Mare Island, where my grandpa Burt was stationed for while in the Navy. The museum and historical buildings are only open every other weekend, and we drew the short straw. But we did find an alternative tour on the far end of the island. This cemetery was part of that tour.

So was the Ghost Ship.

Sweet view of the Carquinez Bridge

As part of the alternative tour, we visited this barn with lots of informative poster boards and theses giant paper mache figures.

The island church with Tiffany's windows

Finally, we made our way into the city to see the sights. And then it was farewell until next time!
