Dan took me & Tak to the De Yong for my birthday! Looks kind of spooky, eh? I think he probably planned that for my birthday.
We went to see Van Gogh, Gauguin, Cézanne and Beyond: Post-Impressionist Masterpieces from the Musée d’Orsay.
Plus they were having their Friday Night Soiree! Don't we look sophisticated? And French?
We did a last-minute tour of the tower. The De Young is right across from the Cal Academy of Sciences (as you might remember from our visit to its living roof).

Architectural factoid: the De Young was designed by Herzog & de Meuron, just like the Walker. So, it was sort of like going home.

After the museum, we went out of a drink at the most spook-tastic bar I've ever encountered. Bonus!
